We are excited to announce that Grace Hambleton has been selected as a 2025–2026 School Leadership Fellow through the Hillsdale College K-12 Education Office!
“We are proud to serve as Grace’s training ground and look forward to witnessing the many ways she will grow and contribute during her fellowship year,” said Kayla Cruthers, ICA Principal. “Grace will spend the entire school year training under the mentorship of our dedicated administration. Through hands-on experience, leadership development, and thoughtful study, she’ll gain valuable insight into the daily life of classical school leadership—right here in our community.”
“I am honored to be able to work at Ivywood Classical Academy in the upcoming school year,” said Hambleton. “Kayla Cruthers and her team have so much wisdom to share. I am grateful for such an amazing and unique opportunity to learn the ‘boots on the ground’ aspects of school leadership and look forward to getting to know the Ivywood school community and helping the school leadership and faculty provide the best education possible to our students and families.”
The Hillsdale School Leadership Fellowship is a one-year, full-time program that pairs aspiring leaders with seasoned heads of school, equipping them with the tools, knowledge, and character needed to lead classical schools grounded in virtue and academic excellence. The fellowship provides a pathway for educators, military veterans, and professionals in other industries to enter school leadership, working in concert with Hillsdale’s Graduate School of Classical Education, new school development, and existing affiliate school network.
